The EYBL follows the rules set by the NCAA:
- College three-point line
- Two (2) 16-minute halves
- 35-second shot clock
- Five (5) personal fouls per player
- Teams will enter the bonus after seven (7) team fouls, double-bonus after ten (10) fouls
- Collegiate referees used for all league games
- Overtime – 1st period five (5) minutes, 2nd period three (3) minutes, 3rd overtime and beyond is two (2) minutes until a winner is decided
- Each team will receive four (4) full and two (2) 30-second timeouts per game
- Each coach will be assessed a technical foul before the game if they do not meet the coaches dress code
- Each team will be assessed a technical foul before the game for incorrect roster information
- Player and coach misconduct will be addressed on an individual basis resulting in penalties as seen fit
